The upcoming Gaming in Spain Conference 2025, scheduled for June 26 in Madrid, has confirmed Mikel Arana, Director General of the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ), as its keynote speaker.
As Spain’s top regulatory authority for online gambling, Arana will address the latest legislative developments impacting the industry, along with their direct implications for licensed operators in the Spanish market. His participation is expected to be one of the highlights of an agenda packed with crucial topics for the sector.
The conference arrives at a pivotal moment for the industry, as significant regulatory changes are on the horizon. Notably, far-reaching advertising restrictions, initially overturned by Spain’s Supreme Court last year, are expected to be reinstated under a new public health law. If implemented, these measures would significantly reshape the landscape of Spain’s regulated market.
